OSS -Operational Support Systems Analyst
During a system deployment, the role is to work interactively with one or more client teams using a structured project management deployment process methodology. A structured methodology facilitates improved project performance and delivery. A proven plan identifies and mitigates performance barriers. Greg Burrus uses the licensed Ten Step & PMI Project Deployment methodology but adapts to the clients methodology when one exist.
Primary functions:
- Work with cross functional teams
- Use and apply the clients or the appropriate Project Management deployment methodology
- Project management and project scheduling of client projects
- Facilitate work process change in organizations or teams
- Organize and facilitate group / team meetings
- Provide one-to-one and team training to customer personnel
- Address process barriers or bottlenecks related to project or business performance
- Track project progression and performance metrics
- Coach individuals and teams in using any new tools and processes being implemented
- Ensure deliverables and project timelines are met
